Mark Ohlsen, DDS
Meet Dr. M. L. Ohlsen
Dr. Mark L. Ohlsen grew up on the prairie in Marshall, Minnesota. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. He majored in biology and minored in chemistry. He then attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He completed his training along with state and national board certification in 1988. He pursued additional training through an advanced general dentistry residency sponsored by the University of Minnesota. This program placed him in large dental practices and hospital settings. Through these work related experiences he received exposure and opportunity in advanced and complicated dental concerns.
After completing the advanced general dentistry residency, Dr. Ohlsen was an associate dentist in Kasson, Minnesota. In the fall of 1990, Dr. Ohlsen purchased The Dentist's House practice in Faribault, Minnesota. for over twenty-five years Dr. Ohlsen has been providing general dentistry care. He enjoys his duties as a dentist to restore and advance his patients oral health needs.
Dr. Ohlsen and his wife live in Faribault. They enjoy and savor the small town living. In his free time, Dr. Ohlsen enjoys pheasant hunting, golfing and recreational biking. He has a passion for empowering people to live their best everyday ordinary moments right where they are because his special needs son taught him how beautiful an ordinary lived life can be. His son is in heaven and his daughter is married and lives in Iowa. Currently Dr. Ohlsen and his wife are learning to embrace and grow through the changes in their lives, ever mindful and thankful for the wonderful people who have crossed their paths.

Sherry Fisher
Licensed Dental Assistant and Office Manager
Sherry attended Rochester Community Technical college in Rochester, MN where she received her degree in Dental Assisting in 1989. Sherry joined our team in May of 1999. She handles all insurance and claim processing, scheduling appointments, answering phones, accounts receivable and is our financial coordinator. Sherry also at times fills in with Chair Side assisting when needed.
Sherry was born in Owatonna, MN where she still currently resides. Sherry enjoys spending time with family and friends; she also enjoys traveling, entertaining and outdoor activities.

Kelly Bauer
Licensed Dental Assistant
Kelly Attended Lakeland Medical and Dental Academy in Minneapolis, MN where she received her degree in Dental Assisting in 1996. Kelly enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially building relationships with her patients. Kelly joined our team in January 2014, she is Dr. Ohlsen's registered Dental Assistant. She also keeps track of all supplies needed in the office and is our sterilization coordinator.
Kelly was born in Faribault, MN where she currently still resides. She has three children and enjoys spending her free time with family and friends; she also enjoys shopping and movies.

Jenny Leppert
Registered Dental Hygienist
Jenny graduated from Normandale Community College in 2011 with her degree in applied science in Dental Hygiene. Jenny joined our team in 2014 where she provides gentle quality care to our patients.
Jenny was born in Faribault, MN where she currently still resides with her husband and their four children. Jenny enjoys spending time with her family and going to her children's sporting events along with many outdoor activities.

Jennifer Nemitz
Front Office Receptionist
Jennifer attended Lowthian College in Downtown Minneapolis, MN where she got her Associates Degree in fashion merchandising in 1988. Jennifer worked as an assistant manager for two years in a clothing store in Burnsville, MN. Jennifer also was training in Dental Sterilization, where she utilized her skills as a dental sterilization coordinator for eleven years. Jennifer joined our team in October of 2015, where she is our friendly greeter and front office receptionist. Her duties include answering phones, checking patients in and out and helping with patients dental needs and questions. Jennifer also utilizes her skills in sterilization when needed.
Jennifer was born in Owatonna, MN where she still resides, she has two sons, which she enjoys spending time with them. She also enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with friends and watching old movies.
